So, when do you expect to see the next 21-slot G5 subnotebook with built-in antigravity? Or do you have other things to complain about regarding the Mac rum0rz press?

Apple MacBook Pro 2025, only one usb d port, 5mm thick, all keys on an LED panel, runs MaciOS, no trackpad (use the keyboard as trackpad), 1.0 gHZ, burst mode to 1.2!

Hah! You think it'll have a port.

Ok, that was thinking optimistically.

Wireless charging (charger not included), so no need for ports.

Oh right. Totally.

The wireless charger will be $300 but for $200 they will sell you an adapter that turns your old charger into a bulky wireless charger.

Charger availability will be severely constrained for six months after product launch.

I'm guessing that, despite what they said, now is NOT the perfect time for this ground-breaking product. No real info since Jan. 2017. My only (extremely faint) hope is that they might be trying to fit an external GPU in something like this, now that they're supported. Not likely at all.

Apple Pay credit card. Partnering with Goldman Sachs is probably a deal-breaker for me. Not that I'm a paragon of political virtue, but if I have the option of avoiding them, I will.

Do you hate Goldman or Sachs more? :)

I don't know why I'm supposed to want an Apple Pay credit card instead of any other kind, but it's not as if Chase or Citibank are my paragons of political virtue, either. Will have to wait and see what this actually is, when announced, I have no brand loyalty to any of these usurers beyond who'll pay me the most points to use their product.

My only credit card is a Working Assets Visa -- so it's still Visa but proceeds go to charity.

As an Apple stockholder, in principle I would rather use a card where any profits generated go to Apple. I fully take Roger's point about Chase and Citibank. I do have Chase cards...

Twinkle, twinkle, little Star... Sounds like an Apple Chromebook, and seems very plausible to me.

[EDIT]

Oops, they updated the article. Plausible in a Mac-based ARM light laptop, not as much in yet another iOS form-factor.

My most recent trip made me feel like I really could use LTE device. Like iPad or notebook-type thing.
