What do you need to have invented?

What a journey.

What do y'all think of this? https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pixoproducts/pixo-magnetic-tablet-mount-for-desktop-computers/

I backed it because I think it's a nice, elegant solution and I thought the creator's heart was in the right place. We talked about how he could reboot it successfully. If you have any good feedback about what would get you to buy one, I'll pass it along.

Also, if you're at all curious about the progress of my latest thermometer, it's unfortunately going slower than hoped (some of it thanks to the Chinese manufacturing learning curve).

First time I've made something with steel, which I don't know if any of the backers care about now but they'll appreciate the heft once they hold it.

Cool! How did you think about what alloy(s) of steel? (Bike nerds can do on all day on that topic.)

johnny I have been watching it closely as I am a backer.

ddt, easy. Stainless steel is just a kitchen thing for aesthetics and non-reactivity (though in my case, it's not functionally necessary), and there's one or two grades that are favored for machinability.

Appreciate it Daniel - and thanks for the patience. I'm antsy to get it shipped. Hopefully the journey is interesting, at least. Which reminds me, Lizard is one of the greatest Kickstarters I've backed in that vein - read this update if you like understanding the technical limitations of NES programming, never mind that it hasn't shipped yet.
