iBox
Box mini
Box Pro
BoxBook
BoxBook Pro

The more the boxes change, the more they stay the same... or don't.

(talk about the hardware here)

Probably not. It's always been a hands-off product for them. But they DO put together the package with the needed drivers, some of which don't have Windows support otherwise. I don't want them to give that up.

We have a third gen AppleTV. I used it for the first time in months the other day. I was setting up a new remote (Harmony Elite, which works quite well!) and needed to test to see if it worked. I was stunned at the ass backwards user unfriendly interface. Then I switched back to the Roku 4 and all was well.

I don't know what Apple can do to save AppleTV at this point. Oh, I've got an idea. Sell Rokus in the Apple Store and give up on the idea. It's too late now. They blew it.

I'm so sad Roku isn't in Australia yet...

I disagree with this article. Unless you change the references to "MacBook Pro," to "MacBook." Then it makes a lot of sense.

I think that there is a lot of confusion now about the phrase, "MacBook Pro."

Problems with the keyboards of the new MacBook Pros.

I liked the first comment:

I don't care, as long as it is thinner and has less ports I'll buy it.

You mean it doesn't already?

Apple didn't release a new iPad Pro 2? It's been 16 months since I first got my hands on one. Why is this taking so long? Are they busy moving into the spaceship?

Pretty decent price cut with the new iPad.

Massive price gulf now between the standard iPad and the "pro" models that work with the pencil & keyboard. Double the price once you get the accessories.

Yeah I don't get why the new base-model iPad can't at least work with the keyboard. Seems like they make a lot of these kinds of moves just to preserve margins at the expense of market share/usability now.

A little less than a year ago, I wrote an email to Tim Cook pleading the case for more powerful portable Macs, citing all of my usual, tiresome arguments. I even suggested bringing back the PowerBook brand for these laptops.

Today, I saw this: Apple files for a worldwide trademark for "PowerBook."

That name notably doesn't have the word "Mac" in it.

It's definitely a souped-up version of this, now with words.

Probably just a renewal to prevent others from using it.
