his tongue went click click click as his head hit the basket after the guillotine's blade had sliced it cleanly. for a few seconds his eyes blinked and a reddening of the cheeks was noted by the attending physician. the crowd howled in glee...

oh, i'm sorry, wrong topic. click click click is for camera/photo/digital photo discussions which seem to have a place in our hearts.

Failure is pre-greatness.
For those who might be interested, I posted about my 35mm negative scanner for sale in DealSpork...

bahamut – February 22, 2012 11:07PM Reply Quote
isn't that more than it sold for? i'm not being snarky. i have one. i know they are the best slide scanners there are and they are no longer being made. just curious if that's the going rate.

Yep, it is more than it sold for. You're right, they're not being made anymore. I took my cue from the high end (but not the highest) of the ebay samples available.

Guess I better be careful with mine. I have to say, I could imagine higher quality (and oh god, that shitass slide feeder). That said, what I said above, nothing better's been made. Let me know how you do. I'm not sure I'll part with mine (still have some work to do with it) but it's nice to know…

I still have plenty of work left to do with mine, too... I'd much prefer to keep it but this isn't really a voluntary sale.

Found the miniaturization setting on my wife's canon sx 30 IS

It is on this camera. Again I bought it for my wife. She does not take time to play with stuff. It also has "Keep only one color, and make rest B&W"; "swap colors"; Fish-eye, etc. Pretty neat, really.

Bottom right for time being on this page http://www.frys.com/ads/page2

Charging it up now. Got it for wi-fi to web ease of use. I think my wife will like that feature. I've got way too many cameras now. Not a lot, but too many.

No, I don't think he means that.

There are already reviews of that camera; and he would have named it if it was a released product. It looks like he is alluding to something that he is not yet allowed to discuss.

what is the lead-time for his reviews I wonder? Ever batch them up ahead of time?

That miniturization is cool! Check trailers for the next Sim City game... though we'll probably all be sick of it by then.

I was vastly amused by this iSupr8 app and used it to make a music video: http://www.twoangstroms.com/2012/06/09/what-i-did-last-weekend-music-video-edition/

I wouldn't be surprised if he means the Sony. I doubt he means anything Apple.
