his tongue went click click click as his head hit the basket after the guillotine's blade had sliced it cleanly. for a few seconds his eyes blinked and a reddening of the cheeks was noted by the attending physician. the crowd howled in glee...

oh, i'm sorry, wrong topic. click click click is for camera/photo/digital photo discussions which seem to have a place in our hearts.

Originally started by Baha at the old site, I thought it was time we brought it to the new boards

Picked up a nice looking Pentax M42 mount Bellows unit on ebay and k mount adapter. Now all I'm waiting on is the 50mm 1.4 and I'll have a decent ridiculously inexpensive macro system to catalogue my jewelry inventory as I make it.

Looking at the prices of the K10d continue to drop. I think its about time to pull the trigger and make the move to digital.

Tomorrow Pentax should announce its D20 semipro and D200 advanced amateur cameras. I've been putting off buying the D10 until finances were a little more favorable, but with the supplies chain running dry I'll have to pull the trigger soon.

Ooh! Scary! Scary! Don't we look mean? You can't see me! But I can see you!
Yeah, I've advised my mother to wait until tomorrow to buy her XTi. They've been dropping the price every week at many online retailers.

That's just a JML CCTV lens... photographic/videographic quality lenses are a step up from that (tho not so labor intensive. I doubt Canon or Panavision has their employees that hands on.)

In America, the only respectable form of socialism is socialism for the rich.
Cool to see.

I hope the nice glass is done in a more clean environment.

GAH! where are the hair-nets? Nothing like dropping a follicle or two into that optical cement just before you place the "carefully cleaned" convex front element into position.

Somehow, that price sounds much better in euros... I bet for the price difference one could afford a first class airfare both ways...

that's the sort of thinking a lot of people don't do. Same with cars and such. If one looks nationwide (union-wide for you?) with sites such as autotrader.com [holy crap, that now has a "MSN" in the url!!!], and sees that you can find/fly/buy/drive-back a car cheaper than in one's hometown area many times.

And, for long-distance, there was always the 'factory delivery' for like German cars, that one would hear about, where you can fly over, take delivery, and have it boated back cheaper than buying it here.

What a journey.

that was the case, not so sure anymore. if we raised the prices to match euros, it would knock your socks off so a lot of our prices are kept artificially low.
