Iron Man Rocks!
It's what a fun superhero movie should be. It had the right combo of humor and action. It managed to be a origin story that didn't make you asay "get to the good stuff" the origin WAS the good stuff.
And if you haven't heard, stay to the end of the credits.

Better than "Less Than Zero"?

Dammit. Didn't stay to the end of the credits. What happened? If you can tell me in a way that doesn't spoil it for others.

I liked the movie, though almost every memorable scene has been in one or another of the trailers. I thought it was funny that the US military is apparently twelve people, who handle things in both the Middle East AND Southern California.

I also hated (spoilers in white)

The trend in all superhero movies to make create the hero, then gimp him horribly for his final fight to make him the underdog. I wanna see Iron Man at 100% power! They always do that.

>Sulley leaving Boo via the closet near the end. And the same feeling when he peaks around the restored door. (I'm teary eyed now just thinking about it)

>And that darned song from Toy Story 2 "When she loved me"

Ditto. Bastards.

Well, if watched the audio-less versions, Mr Snakes aka nick is starting another movie. I's a team thing.

In America, the only respectable form of socialism is socialism for the rich.
So Iron Man is PG-13 ... but some PG-13 is OK for my younger children. What do you rate Iron Man?

Is this NetFlix parent's page accurate?

I took my eight year old (turned nine the next day), and it was fine. One bit of writhing in bed with a pretty lady, but no boobage or exposed genitals or posteriors. The violence was comic-booky enough that there was no trauma. I remember some blood at one point, though.

SAw Indy 4 tonight.
It was good to see Indy and marion back, but I'd only rank it number 3 of the series. Defiantly the slowest pacing of the 4.

I'm glad somebody agreed with me. Indy spent way too much talking. The pacing was so different it felt more like another installment of National Treasure at times. Lucas' skills at writing dialog are only marginally better than the butchering he did in Episodes II and III. Overall, I still enjoyed the movie.

BTW is Indy a Republican? (I like Ike...)

It was just a joke. I actually thought it was funny how hard they kept trying to make it look like he hated communists so much.
