The woman narrating the collaboration section has some kind of speech disorder. Two words... pause... two words... pause... short phrase... pause... one word... pause. It's annoying the hell out of me.

It should have been a Pipin only release!

And they've been keeping that fine tradition by missing every high-end gaming boat since then.

Apple Watch series 2 doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.

I'm just thrilled that they're using version numbers. I hate having to refer to my Mac as a "Mac Book Pro, non-Retina, mid-2012."

When I could run, Apple Watch didn't have GPS. And now that Apple Watch has GPS, I can't run.

32GB at the low end for the iPhone 7. Finally. And in the iPhone 6s, too. Nice.

So, iPhone 7 and Watch "Series 2" seem like a complete snooze. Will we see actual new functionality next year, maybe? Is Apple just on autopilot?

johnny k – September 07, 2016 02:07PM Reply Quote
What features did you want, Roger? Top of my list is to upgrade that Watch accessory...what's it called? Oh yeah, "Mac".

I was a bit disappointed there wasn't more forward movement on health data and analysis -- HealthKit could become something powerful for public health.

But I'm totally cold on the Watch in general (don't wear watches), the iPhone rev is not that special for me, personally. It seems the focus of this event was new models of consumer products; what captures me about Apple is when they make something that allows people to do something new, or do things in a better way. I'd like to know more about live collaboration in Pages (partially because I haaaaaaate Google Docs and Sheets -- btw, Airtable looks to be a great and more powerful option in place of Sheets).
