Bringing this thread back to the top, as it is relevant again!

Walked past the venue yesterday. They'd set up barriers to form those snaking lines for a long queue, like at Disneyland (insert your own apt metaphor there). Couldn't tell if the civilians milling about were just gawking or waiting to get in line 24 hours in advance. Hope all this activity and blocked streets means more revenue for the city of SF!

I've taken the day off from work, for other reasons. I am sitting in my living room, live feed up on my Apple TV, hoping to be blown away but expecting to be underwhelmed. Siri on Mac, new (even slimmer!) MacBook Pros, new iPhone, yawn...

Agreed. Remember when "social justice" was an unquestioned good?

Welcome back, Phred!

Watching the keynote. They seem very excited about Minnie Mouse.

I wonder if the total revamp of the watchOS UI organization (the Finder-ish features) is due to a rethink by the original team, or that team was keelhauled and new people overhauled what was not working.

Wait until you hear about the new Mac Minnie.

She may not be dressed for a workout, but she is wearing a flotation device.

Why do they have to repeat everything twice? Jeez, Lynch spending five seconds on each new watch face is one thing but going over them again just seems desperate.

Oh, good, my watch can remind me to breathe. I hate when I forget to do that.

Lynch is the former Adobe guy, isn't he? He's not good.
