Ahh, yes. I remember that one.

What a journey.
I play a Euchre game many times a day on my Palm Treo. Just got my best score (tied) in past two years this morning. Took screenshots with my iPad Mini I was so happy. :)

I've been looking for a decent Chess game for the Mac and this article makes depressing reading:

Anyone play Chess on the mac? And with what?

While I enjoyed the original Alien movie, I think that for a game I would prefer something more like the second movie. Action/FPS/Shoot 'em up rather than suspense/horror.

Chasing Sig around in any game would be jolly fun

Stand off and nuke her from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

I wonder if you can play different characters. Sign me up for chest-burster!

There were plenty of those games, if you want to dig them up and see if you can get them running. There was one game that had three storylines: one you played as an alien, one as a Predator, one as a marine.

James, how is EVE these days? I'm thinking of dipping my toe in again. I know that they've been working on making the game more approachable.

I haven't played EVE much for the past year or two. There's more to the game than before, but I wouldn't describe it as more approachable. Not that a 13 year veteran is the best person to answer that kind of question.

I didn't get much of a chance to play last night, but First Cry Primal looked wonderful on my Blade. It is also the first game that has seamlessly picked a superb configuration for the hi-res screen that shows everything at a sane size and good resolution. Not a fan of the Uplay DRM, though. It hasn't done anything daft yet, but it's probably a matter of time.

Oculus Rift was going to support the Mac until they realized even the most powerful Mac doesn’t have a good enough GPU to handle it. By contrast, both my middle school aged sons have PCs that can handle it.

But they are so thin and energy efficient! Both qualities in which they are surpassed by a sheet of paper.

The last two nights I have been so brain-dead when I got home that, instead of Far Cry Primal, Grim Dawn, or Bioshock, I've played Solitaire on my fancy new PC. It did render really well, though...

Wait til you can play Solitaire in VR. You'll really feel alone.
