How about a new header when reading the threads:

[Subject ] [Views] [Posts] [Last Post] [New]

Can that be added to the top of the forum when viewing the threads? It could contain a count of the new posts. And possibly link to the last new post? That would be helpful.

Also, I don't see a place to get the unread count for a Topic, but I can get it for the Forum.

Unread Message count for Topics could probably be added, but I haven't found a mod to do it, which means writing my own.
