Wow all -- hey noharness@! Good wishes to you all. A dear friend underwent double mastectomy yesterday ... it all happened so quickly. From diagnoses to the knife in like a week. It was tiny but she wanted to get it out now. Apparently recovery is OK and after the typicaly 24hr nerve block wore off she was quoted as telling the Dr who said "you should get up and walk around" to her, "yeah wellby rino - Spork Central

Hmmm, what pray tell does tethering have to do with Apple's 'closed system' ? Seems like an ATT problem to me. I like the iPad -- great potential. Agree about the 'closed system' -- it frightens me too. But what is the closed system? The apps? The file system? All digital books have DRM, all digital video has DRM unless you rip it yourself, no music has DRM any longer. But now our Apps have DRMby rino - Spork Central

Hey all -- just checking in for iPad reactions, been busy. My portfolios: 1 I manage is 90% back to peak but peak was wild, this is much safer. AAPL is good but a little down post earnings. AMZN is good but I locked in a decent profit and got out. Shoulda re-bought at 118 but it's tomfoolery to try that, esp. considering the near 80 p/e the stock trades at. Nobody can buy an F-22 -- it's not available for export. And the F22 is thought of as the best 5th generation fighter out there. The F-35 on the other hand is the multi-role plane which is replacing the F-16, F-18, and some say the A-10. The latter is ludicrous and we should keep the A-10 platform around. See the comments in that YouTube post about the Vulva S80? People calling the gov'ment idiots and the program stupid? The S80 does not qualify for C4C (if that is indeed a 2003 as stated somewhere) ... cars must get 18mpg or less in combined MPG ratings. The turbo S80 rates 19 mpg and the non-turbo 20mpg.
