Apple had the same problem initially with firewire--then they dropped the licensing fee to a reasonable level and it started to grow. Unfortunately it was too late then, and will most assuredly be too late now.by ghidorah - Spork Central

My fear is any abrupt, forced action on Apples part would lead to a chain reaction that would likely cripple both economies and result in armed unrest. Best thing they could do is to start over with their "independent observers", create a baseline of behaviors/conditions, and enact a series of small reforms through monetary incentives or possibly even intellectual property transfers. Quotebahamut Mini is now useless. I saw it as the perfect media center machine with its superdrive for rippin'. Now I have no idea why anyone would buy it. I completely agree Baha. The least they could do is make dual hd standard. What do they use the freed up space for? although thunderbolt makes it a much more versatile machine, the lack of dvd cripples the mini. not too amped about iOS 5, but I like many of the under the hood developments in Lion; especially Resume, Versioning, Autosaves. seeing how Filevault is still fubar on my pb, I'm ambivalent about any future iteration. Full screen apps, gestures, photobooth? Why?by ghidorah - Spork Central
