I still can't find the stupid hard drive.

At least I'm getting the house cleaned up, though. Once again, the trash man came this morning and I already have the can half full of junk. I'm going to try to get the 128D hooked up with the printer tonight so I can tinker some more.

Another item I'm looking for... hopefully someone here has one sitting in a closet somewhere...

At first I wanted to get a Mac LC with the IIe emulator board but then I did some reading and, if I'm understanding this correctly, you can use the IIe emulator board in a Color Classic as well. If so, I'd much rather go that route.

So, does anybody here have a Color Classic and/or the Apple IIe emulator board they would like to part with?

Yikes. I just checked old auctions on eBay and the Color Classic has been going for a LOT. Two of 'em went for over $300.

CC used to have an LC with the emulator... I'll check with her. I'm sure it's long gone tho.

I ended up buying a card on eBay for $18. Now I just need a machine to run it in.

Those are all models that had the LC-style PDS slot and were capable of 24-bit memory addressing (the IIe emulator doesn't work with 32-bit addressing).

I bought a Polaroid camera two days ago for $1.40 US from the thrift store. Actually, both my wife and I each got one. The film was $15.99 for a 10 pack *the batteries are built into the film on a Polaroid film pack* and so I've been using it only for those very fun moments that are polaroid worthy.

And we tell everyone we bought them to "record our love". <--edit: this is not a link to said 'love'.

Here's my gaming group, from the late 1970's. D&D, Top Secret, Boot Hill. We did play a few games on the Apple II+ that one of us owned. What a bunch of geeks.

I'm the one on the far left. I can't make out anybody with their eyes closed, which one did you mean? (And how can I answer other than with a name that will mean nothing to you?) I don't remember how the picture was taken, but that was the entire group so either it was a timer or somebody else took it. You can take it for granted that it wasn't a girlfriend.
