Oh, just noticed this part from my previous link:

>Next door to the proposed strip club is Tony Willoughby’s Mercedes-Benz repair shop, MichelCQ Bros. Ltd.

Here I thought the joint business venture that Tony and I set up to cover our addiction to strippers would evade detection. Curses!

Well, there's always John Leggett-Liet's Empornium in Brisbane, and Ton Willoughby's LegIt! in Amsterdam.

What a journey.
Just wrapped up a nice 17 hour power outage. The storms that came through yesterday really walloped right at my house it seems. Not the only place but we did experience some very strong, loud winds. Many trees down uprooted. I have one across my barn. Power came back none too soon for our food in the freezer. Everyone is fine and appreciates electricity a bit more. Thank you Tesla!

In Nov/December I lost power for 5 days in Southern California, terrible experience.

I thought someone here did. Or I dreamt it. I was mostly concerned my basement.. oh wait, yeah ... we're in a drought.

My first couple of summers in this house had multiple power outages extending for more than 12 hours. The longest was a few days. It's been much more stable the last few years, though.

I am NOT going to start a thread for what seems to me to be a once in a great while type post.
But I had a great, productive day at work today.
There, I said it.

I'm glad that you had a day when things clicked, El Jeffe. Those are great but, as you say, too rare.

At roughly this hour, twenty years to the day, I broke my neck.

Was hoping to celebrate this milestone at a pub and not stuck in bed with a pressure mark. (although the irony is not lost on me)

Those are 20 years you can be proud of to be a fighter, and survivor, Tony! Look back on the highlights of what was not lost.
Keep at it, man!

I'm glad you're still with us, Tony, pressure marks and all. There must have been some terribly hard times in those two decades, but you got through them as you'll get through this.
