Not as far into the future as she used to be, is cb.
I don't know which is more surprising - that I remembered my password or that you are all still here.
Anyway, hello! Those of you who remember my real name will be able to google that i have been pretty busy for the last few years. My job title still gets a laugh when I tell people. Things are certainly looking up on my side of the world, but the global regulatory stuff marches on. I have spent more time in planes in the last two and a half years than in the previous twenty.
I probably won't check back in for another three years, but wanted to say hi and wish you all the best.
CB
Yes really

On line for the opening of the Lego Store at Castleton. It's a line worthy of an iPhone intro, a couple of hours at least.
PS--CB! Hi!

Hi! Glad you're well!
Yes, the few of us are piddling along, on occasion missing you out loud and wondering how you are doing.
Feel free to PM alternate methods of communication; some of us would like to track you a bit more frequently.

Wow, the one person who can explain the math I'm struggling with is in and gone in a split second.
Congrads on being busy CB. It beats the hell out of being bored.
Come back soon.

Welcome back, CB, even if it is temporarily (temporally?).

CB,
Not as far into the future as you used to be? Are you living in Perth now?
Anyhow - good to hear from you!

My sister bet me $20 that I couldn't last a week without booze. A lot of you are probably thinking a week booze-free is a pretty pathetic achievement but it's the first time I've done a sober week in at least 8 months. Possibly a lot longer.
What intrigued me was my sister genuinely thought I couldn't do it.
Anyhow, today I'm going to celebrate somewhat perversely by having a few drinks.
When a few of the remaining out-of-the-ordinary "stresses" are dealt with, I think I might sign up with this mob:

Um, "short bus" may mean something different in the States than it does Down Under...

My son took the short bus for awhile. Not amused.
(Edit: which means Tony's a better man than I).

Sorry Jeff, I didn't mean any offence.
I've had more than a few people over the years see the wheelchair and assume not all the lights are on upstairs. As a result I've probably developed an overly dark and self-deprecating sense of humor.

No offense taken, really, Tony--I think I just got caught at a vulnerable moment. When I wrote that you were a better man than I, I was specifically referring to your ability to make light of your situation. I may be overly sensitive about Noah.
