Ahhh thx.

That is one sweet ride.

that is one of the stupidest things I've seen. Just a step up from an all-duck/t-tape construction.

Is it wrong to want one of these? I wonder what legal hoops I'd have to jump through to drive it over here?

0-60 in 4.5 seconds but it only gets 30mpg.

They sacrificed fuel efficiency for performance. It shouldn't be too hard for a manufacturer to build one like that with less oomph and better mileage.

Such a design would have good hybrid potential as well.

I haven't -- thanks for the link. I'd only heard the rumor that was being built. I'll wait and see...

While I wait for truth about cars to be available:

Still driving the jeep around as second car.

I do sincerely believe those folk in the other Portland get less sunshine than I do in the proper Portland.

that's hideous. and it was a family fun ride. i sure hope there were no witnesses who were family members of those hurt (or killed).

what a fucking idiot. i have no sympathy for drunk drivers. and i'll say this is one big reason i'm against capital punishment: it's too easy an out.

I'm selling my motorcycle. A friend of mine wants to buy it. We spent a few hours tinkering with it tonight but the battery needs a good overnight charge. I explained to him that even with the battery charged, it isn't going to run smoothly without a full carb cleaning but he's still willing to buy it. Perfect timing, too. This will solve a financial crunch I landed in after having to do a bunch of maintenance on the Murano.
