only apple would put six drivers into three driver-less cars.

That does dovetail with what Udacity said about why they got/needed a permit.

I guess Apple doesn't do easter eggs any more, but if there was ever time for one, it'd be a Jobs mode where your self-driving car parked across two handicap spots.

If Steve Were Still Alive™, he probably would actually find a regulatory way to prevent Apple self-driving cars from having license plates. Ultimate status symbol for the rest of us.

Son's work (his co-op with FCA aka Chrysler; again 19 years old)... just gave him use of a new Dodge Charger Daytona for the weekend.

pisshaw... I always spray on the roughest degreaser, take it to a self wash, power spray it down while ENGINE RUNNING.... who has TIME!???

Yes, engine running otherwise who the hell knows if it will start up again??? (speaking from experience). Fan belts are a little gnarly, but so.

Just back from meeting up with Ton! Great day with him and his better half.

Okay, so it seems there's a weirdness with the window controls on my 2005 Mazda 6 wagon. The driver's side window goes up and down using the control on the driver's armrest, but no other windows go up and down based on input from either the controls on the driver's armrest or in their doors. Thoughts? My first guess would be a fuse blew?

Maybe a window lock function that exempts the driver's window? I think some do, since the driver is presumed to know what he/she is doing.

Aw, brill and thank you! I did not know my car that that feature, but now I've found it in the manual -- good thought. I was worrying because one window was half-open and stuck there.

That's two Mondays in a row where I had what I thought were catastrophic issues with my car (last Monday I saw that someone had been in it and it wouldn't lock; turned out a passenger hadn't shut the door all the way, which prevented the car from locking overnight) that turned out to be nothing.

Yeah, I freaked out at a new warning light in my Subaru that turned out to just be the trunk ajar. Here's to easy fixes!

Car: "Warning -- the trunk is ajar."

JW: "No, it's a trunk, not a jar!"

It was one of those generic icons. Just looked like an outline of a car, to me.

I'm really close to replacing my venerable 1991 Miata with a 2004 Mercedes SL500.

CS, my folks had something like that of a similar vintage. First, check how easily local garages can get parts, and look up how much repairs cost. Those things were in the shop quite often.
