I was just wondering this too -- madaracs spoke of a somewhat expensive massively depreciating asset purchase by his wife and I always wonder how people do that without making several hundred thousand a year... but it is used so deals can be had!

My Liquid Yellow, 2004 Mini Cooper S is the most expensive car to date.

Currently looking for an older full-size truck for dump runs, and a newer car for the wife - Volvo V70 XC, Subaru wagon, Mazda 3?

My Miata is a ‘93 C package (leather seats, electric windows, viscous LSD, etc.) bought used in ’98. I traded in my ‘96 Honda Civic. I hated that car - big, wallowy and slow. It should have had Chevy Caprice badges on it.

Ha! You should see how big the civic is now. And the Accord could probably wear a Caprice badge these days.

Yes. Perfectly logical. Especially in this thread about CARS.
You must understand, I have never 'done' public transportation. I MUST DRIVE. I have a hard time being a passenger in or on anything.

So, my lack of public transportation knowledge is perfectly understandable, and does not detract from my now 16 year old knowledge of Chicago. :)
