Yet Another Transplant Thread (credit to Brian Miller for the original) (and Robert Taylor for the 2nd edition)
So, when do you expect to see the next 21-slot G5 subnotebook with built-in antigravity? Or do you have other things to complain about regarding the Mac rum0rz press?

Seems like the site had been tailing off of late anyway. Perhaps Nick had enough to do with college anyway.

I wonder if Nick will come visit the new place?

nick had barely been involved with TS for a long time -- just as owner. he's doing college-type things and writing (last i heard) for the crimson. so... not that i know anything (really), but i hope he got a "buyout".

Screw 'em for all they're worth! Nick's industry contacts, both from TS and from Harvard, will mean he'll be back, stronger and meaner. Maybe not with the Apple rumors schtick, that was his hobby as a kid, but a journalist with his business sense and big, brass balls will be a force to contend with, no matter what field he wants to get into. He's got "Crusading Editor" written all over him in flaming gold letters ten feet tall, and he knows how to turn that into cash.
Youngest ever editor at (fill in the blank of major news organ here) if he wants it... I'd prefer to think he'll start up something new and daring to drag down the old and timid instead.

Not as far into the future as she used to be, is cb.
All I can say is that Nick's settlement was enough to make me ask myself "I wonder what the Spork guys think of all that?"
Which is how I found out that you've moved.
Hiya! If you're wondering how I grew an exclamation mark in my handle, it's because I mistyped the anonymous hotmail address that I haven't used in about a year, so now there's an unverified "codebitch" without the exclamation mark account, with a verification email that almost certainly bounced.
Cheers,
CB

Glad you found us!
I'm in the camp that suspects that nick came out of this with a nice check.
I hope I'm right, but I'll miss TS.

Homo Sapiens Sedentarius
I think that Nick's goals had more to do with journalistic protection for bloggers than preserving a rumor site that has been getting less active over the last few years. If he got a check, more power to him; he was fighting the good fight.
