Polished up my grammar a bit...

Since there was no real thread for useless but nonetheless
interesting links I thought I'd create one.

Madness.

This is like a silver medallist at the olympics suing her college coach for "not giving her enough support"...

For those not familiar with the New South Wales system - this is like getting a SAT score of 2398.8 (2400 is the absolute max, right?)

Full scholarship for any course, anywhere in the country

Why not sue the biro manufacturer for masking pens with ink that didn't "flow" perfectly.

I remember feeling chuffed when I got 94.45...

Never be worth it. You'd have to occupy it for years never knowing when an attack of insurgent fairy godmothers or (a severely pissed tinkerbell) would happen...

Watching the opening ceremony in London via http://atdhenet.tv/45736/watch-olympics-2012-opening-ceremony and saw an old friend Shelly Olds marching with the U.S. team! She'll be racing on the road and track (cycling). I am uncharacteristically excited!

Yes, but they portray Cthulhu as a hero, not a ravening god from beyond the stars.

Hoping this gets filed under "interesting", but here's a link to a beta of a book in which I co-authored Chapter 3: http://disciplineoforganizing.org

Pass it along, get it adopted in curricula!

Quick request -- could we avoid shortened URLs on this forum? I don't know about others, but I look at the URL to see where it's going to take me, and can't do that with tinyurl and bit.ly etc.

i see it as a way to avoid other site's web referral logs tracing back to here.
