Don't most Aussie males get circumspected when born?

Yes, and when they see the surgeon's scalpel they say, "That's not a knife. THIS is a knife."

Difficult days--I'm in the midst of a series of hard conversations with my wife that will determine the future of my marriage.

Every waking moment and some sleeping one could be in the same category for me...

Well I suppose there are different definitions of "future of my marriage".

I kinda sorta know what keeps me ticking, a little less clear on what does the same for my spouse... I am not a fold the tent kind of guy.

Sorry to hear that JCoop. I wish I could offer some insight, but that would be presumptive.

Whatever outcome Jeff, I hope it will get better for both of you.

Um, I was sorta being pithy / sarcastic / honest -- EVERY conversation I have with my spouse DOES effect the future of my relationship. Generally in pretty minor ways, but like I learned in geology class a few millimeters of shift over a long enough time can lead to quite a large mountain. I suspect the sudden 'earthquake' is NOT in my future,as things are mostly pretty good, but you never REALLY know...

sorry Tony. If I were close, I would come by and visit.

I felt like absolute crap yesterday. Today is not starting out any better.
Running fever now, and called doc to get in to see him.

Worst possible timing. I have my hone HUGE project just days away from implementation. This is an upgrade to my system, my MAIN system; first one in about 6 years.

But, I could not even stand or walk most of yesterday.

Not that you would WANT me there, but I would more than offer. If I ever make it to Australia, we will have a day out.

Make or break day here, with break substantially more likely.

I'm sorry you're so miserable, Tony, and I hope you can find a way to make things better.

Sorry to hear it guys. Last year, when things were rough, I saw a therapist and my wife saw another one. We were both committed to fixing things, but not really sure how. I think it turned out for the best, since I could tell my therapist what I thought and that didn't have to be revealed to her. Things are honestly better now than they've ever been. And so is the sex (a consequence).

Channeling Billy Joel here--Anthony's Song, to be exact. May just be temporary, we'll see.
