Is there anything more chilling then a former love interest talking shit about you behind your back? Not that any mutual friend has come out and leveled with me, but you can tell in the body language people use around you.
I guess its what gets her though the day.

Robb, I understand that you must be going to a difficult period. Try and go get your mind wrapped around something else if you can. Maybe French or German classes or even arts history or something. Get to know some new people in the process. Early January should have some new classes starting, doesn't it?
This may sound patronising, but believe me, I've been there too quite a few times. She wasn't really worthy of a personality like you, look at all the fun things you'll be doing!

As a general trend one's bedroom prowess, um 'endowment' and/or orientation seem to diminish markedly depending on how bitter the ex is...

Ooh! Scary! Scary! Don't we look mean? You can't see me! But I can see you!
For instance, right now I'm HUGE.

Got a nice x-mas email from my estranged friend. It was a mass-email but still had some touching sentiments. So I sent a reply simply saying "thank you" only to have it bounce backed by a mailer-daemon. I guess she either sent the message to me by mistake, or she blocked my account the day we split and hasn't bothered to change the settings (haven't tried to contact her before.)
If I hadn't already been hitting the xanax today, I'd certainly be hitting it now.

Meh, been there. (Substitute email for AIM & MySpace/Facebook, because that's what the kids do these days.)

no, leave things open -- if she checks, she'll see you're still open, and not retaliating, but giving her the space she said she needed. just, again, find something else worthwhile in your life and dive in.

Stupid online dating sites.
Nobody is interested in me, just like "real life". And the women seem *more* stuck up. Why the heck do I even bother trying?

I feel your pain Curtis.
I'm having the same lack of luck. At least when I go out to a bar I can get drunk.
