What a journey.
You ADMIT THAT? In PUBLIC?
I thought you were a FAN, man!!!!???
My team squeaked by! And we have beaten four of the other 16, too.

Personally, I think there should be a separate thread for all of you saps who are being all gooey and head-over-heels love is wonderful.
I think this thread should be for the miserable people who want to vent. I certainly take some solace that there are other people with similar problems as me (it actually cheers me up that I'm not alone).
The feel good stuff sprinkled through this thread just reinforces my misery.
What to call the other thread though? That's the conundrum...

Ah, won't you read both anyway, Tony? I see it as more of a support group, evening out the ups and downs.

Yeah, but when you're down, hearing about the ups can be... problematic.

Amen. I don't want to be a jerk but I
really don't wanna hear the naive warm-fuzzy shit...

You're not alone, Tony. I do wish the best for those enjoying the warm fuzzies, but I appreciate Tom's setting up a separate thread for them.

I will post on both... Hopefully.
Technically I've been an active participant on the boards as long as I've known my wife, almost within weeks. I have a few friends that I've know longer (high school and college mates) but since I interact with them so infrequently this is where I work out more stuff...
I am NOT a big believer in "silver bullet" type solutions but I do like to keep pluggin away at problems so I keep the cranky stuff here. There is plenty.

I think we'll all contribute to both. For example, I found a rubber band (for hair) in my car. It had to be B's so the next time I picked her up, I said "Hey you dropped this". Response "That's not mine." Silence for the rest of the trip. Fuck!

Final decision made. Now it's just a matter of how, when, and where to break the news.

Well since my last post we had an enormous blow-up. How big? It involved a Motel 6, and while they do "keep the light on for you" it is a harsh, ugly, low-budget light that is so profoundly depressing that one questions going on. Fortunately I did not bring any handguns or other potentially lethal things with me (well I did have shoelaces and a belt ...) but the next day things were sunnier and I got to a therapist and so did she, so things are not looking quite as bad.
