The final tracking shot was gorgeous, despite the nature of the scene.

how did starbuck get so sane the episode after the small ship was picked up?

She was able to shower.

edit...

Oh and they were able to fulfill her dream/vision thingy and they found the base ship... so she was confident she wasn't insane anymore...

thought it was 12 more, but i'm not sure.

in any case, i was just remembering that ron moore has stressed that the sopranos ended "perfectly". just a possible heads-up.

Sorry, dude. I thought it was assumed that if you read this thread after an episode you might see something. My prediction was entirely accurate anyway. ;-)

All-in-all, I really like this mini season. There where a lot of strong episodes and they moved the story along much faster than I though they would. I expected the series to end where this season ended.

Yes. I thought it was all better than expected.

What is left? (In y'all's minds)

1. Final ONE revealed
2. God or Gods?
3. What of the tin soldiers? (older cylons)
4. Someone has to know how to build more cylons
5. Will they AGE now, too?
6. Can they fix Saul's eye?
7. Was the 13th colony a good thing? That is, the fact that the 13th left the rest, at LEAST gave them all hope when there was none. So, should a splinter group start their own new break away with some of the colonial fleet?

But, in my mind, this episode is as good of an entire ending as I could hope for.

... I was just being dramatic.

I won't recall anything I've read here beyond a few minutes. Think Grandpa from The Simpsons ... that's what it's like.

Why does everybody act like the fleet chasing the Galactica is the entirety of the Cylon race? Just because all the humans fit into a rag-tag fleet, we know that there are Cylon occupying forces for the 12 colonies as well as, presumably, the Cylon base worlds. Has the chase gone so far that there is no communication between the main part of the Cylon race and the pursuing fleet? Even during that year when they just sat on the algae planet? And even if so, wouldn't the Cylon internal war justify sending a ship back to warn/inform and summon reinforcements?

That lego video nothing short of amazing.

Jwill- same could be said of the 13th tribe. They could have scattered and built up, too, I'd think.

I just don't want the rest of the series to ruin this good ending (so far)

They DO need to figure out the whole thing on how the cylons communicate, and 'download' a bit better.

Did anyone recognize where they landed?

Great episode!

I was trying to determine the landing location _on earth_ ... couldn't really. Looked vaguely like there was a harbor so a few places came into mind. Video is at home, I'll have to scrub through it...

isn't every shot in film/tv today legally obliged to be done in Vancouver?

Do you guys read these?

Interviews after each episode answering questions about the show.

CMix (from reader Avery): Was that the Brooklyn Bridge in the background of the final scene? Are they on Ellis Island?

MV: Anything I might say or not say about that last sequence could be construed as a spoiler, so I’m afraid you’ll just have to wait until the next bunch of episodes.

So, do we really have to wait 6 months for the last 10 episodes?
