that story prompted me to research my state's license plate laws.
And the one that they are getting readers that can process 1,000s a minute. http://www.thestarpress.com/article/20111029/NEWS01/110290309

So old-fashioned. Why don't they skip right to radio tracking every car?

Because they think they can hide the 4th Amendment abuses better this way.

I would say that someone must have tire pressure sensor radio frequency trackers. I thought I'd read where each of the tire pressure sensors have and send their own serial number. So, you've got 4 or 5 sensors transmitting their serial numbers. Someone somewhere must have developed a receiver to track those.

I saw somebody on the Daily Show saying that the government spends a vastly greater amount of time and money figuring out ways to get around the Constitution than they do on enforcing it. Sums things up pretty well, really.

could not hear it, but as I walked downtown just now past the Pullman (bar?) I could see Piers (CNN) and the caption of the discussion was Steve Jobs' Cancer Treatment(s).
Would like to have heard what was being said.

"I don't know. Pretend not to notice. He might be dangerous."

anyone interested or know the content of this SJ lost interview being shown in theaters? Sounds a bit scam-ish to me.

(J-Coop : It's at Keystone at the Crossing, where you can bring/take your own beer/wine I think)

Bill Gates gets catty about Jobs

Quote

"They just ripped us off completely, because Gates has no shame," Jobs said in the biography, to which Gates replied "if he believes that, he really has entered into one of his own reality distortion fields".

Of Jobs's technology prowess, Gates has said: "Don't you understand that Steve doesn't know anything about technology? He's just a super salesman."

Statue of Steve erected in Budapest.

Someday, a cheering crowd of Open Source fanatics will pull the statue down, beating it with shoes.

Couldn't they have sculpted pre-cancer Steve?
