I think it's time for Apple to resurrect the "Think Different" campaign... just one new ad with him.

I am hoping Apple does one tribute ad for him now, maybe just broadcasting the original Think Different ad he narrated with his picture at the end or something.

Not sure if Steve would have wanted them to do that. My guess is that his picture will be gone from the home page in a few days, if that. And in his spirit, they'll move on with ever greater pace.

Naw, they should propogate "Steve-ster Eggs" throughout all their websites, apps, devices, silicon at the micron level, etc.

I do think she asks a great question in wondering how much Steve, the control freak (my words) was bothered by the ultimate out of control misfortune, his health. No RDF effect worked on his health, sadly.

I think Woz's pregnant pause and breath after the statement "...he spoke like he was really bothered by it..." (pause, eyes drop, breath) really says a lot. Seemed to me there was a LOT of life and relationship surge through Woz's mind at that brief respite. [4:05 - 4:09]

The company that makes them is in Minnesota and is donating $20 from each one sold to the American Cancer Society.

I suspect those of you with kids sorta know why. My son is 8 years old, my daughter will be 10 in November. I'll 46. When I was their age I was going to Computer Faires, longing to figure out a way to convince mom & dad that I needed an Apple ][.It was the f'ing Red Ryder BB gun for a different generation. I had more luck convincing them to spring for a copy of the Whole Earth Catalog, though they thought it was awfully hippy-ish at least was cheap. Eventually we got a couple at my grade school. By the time I was in collge I was using a //c, and the Mac came out. The world has changed so much so fast.

Looking slim, FLL. And though the context was sad, I had to laugh a bit at the Showing of the Ancien Macs.
