Interesting. I have the original plan as well; haven't seen this yet.

I am jailbroken and have not received it. God knows what plan I have anymore.

I know it's been said before, but the window focus problem during app switching in leopard and snow leopard pisses me off to no end.
Me too. It' profoundly irritating, and it's one of the reasons I kept my home iMac running Tiger for so long (only upgraded last week, because I had a new app that needed Leopard). They've had plenty of time to fix it by now. So?

It's Apple, why would they care?

What are you talking about? Window focus? There are no windows on iPhones or iPads.
Wait. What? You're kidding, right? You really expect me to believe that Apple makes computers, too? That's crazy talk. I saw the WWDC coverage. If Apple made computers, surely they would have mentioned them at some point.

Oh jeez, the window focus on the iPad and iPhone makes me nuts too. Ever try using a reservation Web site with popup calendars on it. OMFG.

We're having FiOS put in today. Assuming things go smoothly, it should be about $40/month cheaper than Comcast, and the activation fee is waived.

Attorneys General and all politicians who use the First Amendment as a fuck toy. How many of you contribute to the EFF? I'd think that the liberals and libertarians among us can find common ground in this Craigslist thing. It finally made me get off the pot and

It's too bad so many attorneys general pick their fights based on what will score the most political points.
I like the EFF as they are mostly on the side of personal privacy, corporate transparency and against government favoritism.

I think that he was trying to underscore some facts that the mainstream press just doesn't cover. I was surprised at his vehemence, but I thought that his points were good.

I thought his delivery was poorly done. No RDF.
Not like the market has been treating them badly, imo. So, they should KNOW or know enough.

Got a Pandigital Zink zero-ink printer for a project. Classic Chinese product. Shitty little LCD screen with 80s graphics and slapdash "UI". The installed Mac driver would not work. I found that its PPD was not legit according to CUPS and tried fixing the errors in the file. So no printing from the Mac - instead used one of its many orifices to direct print from a memory card/camera. Worst, the power jack barely sits in the socket, and must be angled up for the printer to power on. And the paper cartridge is unnecessarily cumbersome.
After two hours of this, at least the print quality is good, though the paper really curls.
I'd stay away from any of those Pandigital photoframes or Android tablets no matter how tempting the price.

What a journey.
MobileMe dropped the $10/yr to add another email account. sigh.

The only thing that MobileMe has going for it at this point is Find My iPhone... which is, obviously, only useful to people with iPhones.

And which no longer requires a paid MobileMe subscription. I still want to keep my .mac e-mail address, though. But, yeah, it's not worth the cost. It's sad how much better DropBox is than iDisk, for instance, and it's free. I keep hoping Jobs will live up to his promise of major improvements in 2011. Maybe all of the cloud stuff that seems to be impending will make use of it.
