WTF?

Will mark it down for future reference. And yeah, there's not a heck of a lot that's out of the usual on my system. I mean growl? Ok, little snitch… flip4mac? perian? suitcase? i guess soundsource is as weird as things get in my system. which is not really very weird. there are a bunch of hardware drivers that i deeply suspect, but they're by folks like logitech and wacom.

Apple Technicians.

About 15 months ago, my internal HD died and it was repaired under Apple Care. Hard drive started dying again about 3 months after Apple Care expired. But that is not my complaint, I decided to update my hard drive to a bigger one, which is worth it, especially since the newer drive is much quieter. What pisses me off is that the technician didn't reconnect the mic on the isight. I had gone the last year wondering why the hell my mic wasn't working!

Plugged it back in and now things are fine. I really wish Apple would make it easier to get to the hard disks in their iMacs. Optical drives, OK, that is something different. But HDs and RAM should be user-replaceable.

some of those internal connectors are WAY too fragile, imo.

If it was hard to write, it must be hard to use. STFU and if you can't figure it out, you don't need to use it.

In fairness, the 'Program Options' module is relatively well documented. The 'Threads' module is a disaster area documentation-wise. However, I believe I have bludgeoned it into submission....

The guy's just a kid, he doesn't know any better. But I know one thing for sure, I never regretted quitting FB a few years back.

... whoever made the clear hard shell that's covering the Macbook Air I bought on eBay. It's red, it's ugly, and I want it gone. The bottom popped right off. The top doesn't want to disengage, and I don't want to force it for fear of damaging the screen or the hinges (a known weak point on the Air). I've heard once from the seller, and his suggestion didn't work. Now waiting for him to tell me what brand it was, so I can scour the web for help (I've already determined that it's not Speck, iPearl, or Incase). Crap, this is not what I needed today.

Did you try dental floss? Seriously, whenever I want / need to "undo" something that seems stuck onto a surface that might be fragile a nice yard or so of Glide will allow me to minimize the torque that gets applied will still providing a solid amout of separatory force...

Safari 5. Crashes whenever it's looked at funny.

On Windows, too, more than on Mac. Typical for an Apple X.0 browser release.

It also doesn't work with EyeTV Live3G streaming. That's going to suck for me when I get back to India.

I was a rev behind on Click2Flash, so maybe that is it.

I've also got GreaseKit installed. I need to make sure that's up to date...

So. Probably too early to tell, but no crashes since updating both of those. (I went for the newest beta of Click2Flash...)
