Well.
Also needed with Spork is the "ribaldry • rumors • rats" sub-moniker

Got in to G+ but... I want different circles to see different email addresses for me (since addresses are so tied to social identity)?

dpbd: okay, those sporkers I was able to add on google+... what of my personal info do you see, whom else I have as friends do you see, what email address for me do you see? I accidentally clicked the invite into the wrong browser, and it latched to an email address I only use for certain things and people... until google+ got a hold of it.

You're listed as "a a". Under your "About" page it just shows your gender as Male and "Other names: dan".
It shows that you have 11 people in your circles and that 7 people have you in their circles.
It shows your profile photo with the two comments under it.

Thanks. Does it show any email address?
I'd love to be able to change the "a a" (random pick so as not to expose my name w/o my choosing to do so) to show different versions to different circles. I don't want my full name to some retailers, for example, but I'd want that for professional contacts. Same w/ email addresses.

In all seriousness, that email address would be easy for many people to remember, and fun/joking, too. (with S, of course....)

Likely another step toward making internet usage tied to your unique/person ID. You know the feds have to have some persuasion/sway with Google. Too ripe an opportunity not to. (Likewise, FB)

My Google profile says I'm 'j k'. This is why I'm probably not signing up for Plus.

Hideously Unnatural
Well, hey, I just approved a user you all might be familiar with.
It has been too long - don't lurk!

I'm back. I had to reestablish my account though - either Tom automatically deletes inactive ones, or it didn't survive one of the server moves. I need to figure out how to properly tweak all my settings again, too.
Anyway - I read
this post at MacRumors, then 17 pages of absolutely worthless comments looking for useful info before deciding to return here for more stimulating conversation.
Ahhh... it's good to be home :^)

Hiya, James! Still playing EVE, I trust?

Thanks, Jeff. Is that a new daughter?
John - my Eve gaming is down to about one day a week. I’ll probably get booted from my corp again for inactivity. For the first time ever, I live just five minutes away from an actual game store with 40K and Warmachine leagues, multiple RPG nights, etc. Then again, I’ve spent less time there than Eve lately, as I slowly piece together my new Dark Eldar army.

As long as you're still gaming, that's what counts.
