What a journey.
Well, just take care not to be on the wrong side, is how I look at it. :)

Having just finished
Founding Brothers, I can say that I agree with John Adams - it is part of our eternal nature to take these same opposing sides. And it took no time at all for mudslinging politics to enter into a noble start for the American government. This book gave me a new (more negative) outlook on Jefferson, for sure.

hmm, I wonder if my public library has that. The other book by Ellis looks worth checking out too.

founding brothers is an excellent read--offering a fresh look at the nations heros while remaining very readable too.

So, have I missed anybody with the Spork group invites on Facebook?
I've added all the sporkers I can find with accounts there... I'm not going to invite anyone who doesn't have a Facebook account since I'm sure everyone gets enough spam as it is. But if you have a Facebook account, search for the group "Spork Boards" and join.

I want to do a website devoted to net hostility. Where you try to get people as enemies and you post about the things you hate. You don't get to write your own profile, your enemies do. And you get to write theirs, and upload pictures that you claim represent them. facebutt.com, or something like that.

Guys, I haven't been feeling too hot.
Not sure what's going on with me. Getting checked by doctors.
It's been fun. Just in case.

Don't worry, Bill. I'm sure it's just hysterical pregnancy.

Sorry. Just been feeling blah. And then yesterday at work had like a brain cramp and about passed out. Not sure what it was. Kind of scary.

Well, can I share something with you guys?
I felt so bad/scared from this, that I wrote each of my family (wife/kids/mom/sis) letters in case something happens.
It was very intense and attention-getting. But, now I seem 'better'. Which gives me no comfort, really. But the process of writing letters to those you care about, that will still hold meaning throughout their lives (hopefully) is painful.
Anyway, I've got tests lined up, and trying to keep a stiff upper lip. Good thing I'm still damned handsome.

I tried to make 'colon faces' for the camera. Not sure he got my good side. ;)
I can't WAIT to see my esophagus and stomach. I'm sure Jeff, the RN, will try to really put me out this time. At least I won't be a chatter box with the tube in my throat.
