Well, yes, you know. We all need them some times.

It's early for me. Especially since I'm getting a 3G iPad and won't see it until May anyway.

Ordered, for delivery, since the store pickup option was non-obvious. Late April, for 3G of course.

Ditto, except I got the $499 model. You get any accessories? Adds up quick, torn between keyboard dock or dock + BT keyboard, so I did nothing for now. I'm going to need some sort of waterproof case for the tub, too.

Sometimes accessories aren't available in the same number as the product that they support, so I ordered mine up front. Got a couple of AC Adapters, a dock with keyboard for work, a dock without keyboard for home, and a bluetooth keyboard for use at home.
Oh, and a case. Apple likes me.

I had purchased AppleCare for it, but I just got e-mail saying that they can't offer AppleCare for the iPad in Nevada. Odd, since I can get AppleCare on Macs and iPods.

I seem to remember that they could only offer AppleCare in Florida to business customers.

They finally overcame that, I think, you can now get AppleCare in FL for Macs. But why would Nevada allow AppleCare for Macs and iPods and not iPads? I wonder if you can cover an iPhone.

Ordered mine too, with delivery, middle level WiFi version. Yes, ouch it does add up fast if ou order accessories. I suspect the base model would have been quite adequate for me.

I ordered the 64GB 3G, with a few accessories.

I'm resisting the temptation right now.
As I did with the iPhone, I'm going to try and hold out for v2.

I'm fighting the urge, too. But it's a struggle. My faculty friends, who keep asking if I've placed my order, aren't helping.

Guess I'm clueless. What's the deal with 1337?

1337 is nerdspeak for "Elite" or "LEET"
1 = L
3 = E
7 = T

Ha! My ordering accessories up front has
proved to be wise. My order status still shows the original ship dates, so I think Apple just ran out. I knew that they would, at least for the keyboard dock. Of course, now that I've posted this, they'll change my order status to show April 45th as the ship dates...
