OMFG it's going to rock the world! d00dz!
Well, yes, will it?
The neighbor who works in this field won't talk about it. He keeps ducking the issue. He knows.

OK Baha,
I haven't been this baffled about wtf you're talking about since the original B?K! thread on the MTK boards...

Oh - duh! The tablet... I get it.
Sorry - a bit drunk. Australia day. (Or as I like to call it - Rampant Racism day)
Ozzie! Ozzie! Ozzie! Oy! Oy! Oy! (Or as the rednecks would put it) "We grew here! You flew here!"
Oh, that's right I "flew here" too...

Gonna get a pad. I've got a problem if they have AT&T and Verizon networking. I don't like AT&T for their MMS and tethering issues, and I know that they suck in SF and NY, but I have great reception in Reno. Verizon SAYS that they have good coverage here, but no personal experience with them.

I would get a pad. I am still chugging away on my 12" powerbook, but I really only use it to surf the web from my bed or the couch.

I don't want or need the stupid data plan. I use PDAnet on my iPhone to tether (yay! iPhone OS 3.1.2 tetherin'). Want the pad to do that. Then again, do I want to add the iPad to an already full bag? I dunno. FML.

Steve set this up with exactly the right question: if you have an iPhone and a MacBook, why do you need a third device? So far, though, the answer has been underwhelming.

And the connectivity is BT or WiFi only? WTF? Is Apple going to expect people to get MiFi / 4G modem???

Maybe saving for last, bundled with carrier would make it cheaper.

Maybe. I mean sure the radio would kill battery life, but an external modem? Would that not feed right into the hungry maws of the that will happliy create lookalike devices? If you end up getting the WiMAX modem for yourself then what is prevent you from also getting a Dell Pad/ Acer Pad/ Nexus Pad?

No multitasking so far, no cameras, no 3G? I may not buy. And if I won't...
