Film, TV, video DVD, DV, Flash. Put the Multi to use here, folks.

I've pre-ordered. Even if the saga doesn't turn out well in the end, the first season will remain a terrific piece of work.

Oh, the first four seasons (book 4 & 5 would be compacted into one season) would be well worth watching.
It's one of those series where I think the TV adaptation can be better than the book. You can't put endless waffle about heraldry and medieval cooking into a TV series and hold up the plot, it's just there in the background.
(*semi-spoiler!*)

...
...
And the long boring pointless journey of Brienne⢠would get zero or no airtime in the TV screenplay...

The Next Gen blu-ray release is an improvement but it's not THAT amazing. I've only watched one of the three episodes on the teaser disc so far, though.

What a journey.
TNG was my/our fave.
But I don't think it looks good over time.
(not sure I like Lion Safari's auto-correct)

Watched some episodes on Netflix; Riker looks gross in HD.

Is it supposed to be funny, campy or serious? While watching, I was just laughing at the whole idea, especially in Tim Burton's brand of darkness. Do we still yearn for a pure hero of a president in self-inflicted apocalyptic times? That's how many felt about Obama last time, but he's dirty now. Could we even find someone we'd all love? I imagine once the country unites against vampires, new laws are pushed through. Garlic is mandatory in health plans, we're prodded with oak stakes at airport checkpoints, and cross-wielding priests patrol public spaces.
Serving up that last one.

Great tagline.
I was unhappy to see the Washington Monument in the trailer, though. During Lincoln's presidency, the monument's construction was stalled at about 1/3 its completed height. They *almost* made up for this by having the Capitol Dome under construction (which it was).

Maybe, in a world with vampires, they finished the Washington monument early, a gigantic symbolic stake warning our vampiric enemies of our resolve.
