Everybody around the office this morning kept talking about google being down. I thought they were talking about the stock price and I felt bad because apparently everybody else owned it but me.

Weird day yesterday--makes me feel old. I was 13 when that Farrah poster was a big deal; she was pretty essential to the ideal of feminine beauty for me and everyone my age.
I was never a Jacko fan, but I do remember endless watchings of the Billy Jean/Beat It/Thriller videos on MTV during college summers.

MJ was very talented as a musician and performer. I also don't think child molesters should get a free pass, but at the same time I realize he was also probably molested and never had the chance to get any real help about it. Then again, I don't think it is smart to put that much sort of adulation on any individual.
