If you ever want to get into multiplayer Uniwar, Roger, my handle is gentlehams. I find the AI is not challenging enough on most levels.
I have been avoiding Dwarf Fortress ever since I heard about it and read the Boatmurdered epic, for the same reason I'm avoiding the Civ IV disc I have in my possession.

Bungie's game, Oni, is getting a semi-official upgrade to Intel. Not the greatest of games, but some novel stuff, mixing hand-to-hand with weapons. Also, the best way to game Ghost in the Shell. I was going to miss this when Rosetta went away, but now I don't need to give it up.

I've run it on my PC under windows 7 but it has a bunch of audio bugs.

There was a Playstation (2?) version as well.

World of Warcraft now free-to-play, up to level 20.

I've just levelled my first death knight to lvl 80. Death knights are mostly tedious but can I just say Army of the dead is just the most awesome feature ever.

Minions! For the win!

(now, back to work...)

Good on him. I've basically given up trying to play any console games...

Because I know you've all been waiting: Duke Nukem Forever is not available for the Mac. Whee. Whoopie.

I believe that should be, "Duke Nukem Forever is now available for the Mac."

Good catch, thanks.

Still. Whoop, right? Now we can smell the suck, too.

It's nice to see them supporting our platform, but I don't think I'll indulge in this particular game.

Just got an email for 75% off Mac Civ V. I already have, and have avoided installing, but does anyone else want a sure productivity killer?

Jeff Cooper – September 01, 2011 07:29AM Reply Quote
Do I want? Yes. Do I dare install? Absolutely not.

I've lost several years of my life to the Civ games.

johnny k – September 01, 2011 08:55AM Reply Quote
Ditto.
I got that email from Aspyr, but it was to an address that they must've scraped off domain registration, so not going to bite anyway.

Yeah, that email landed in my spam folder and Gmail warned that the sender may have been spoofed.
