Not any prettier but better gear than last time:

Big thing in Northrend, repeatable dailies that pay well and give you tokens that you can buy stuff with: heirloom gear, a squire, a mount for your squire, etc.

Nice dwarf, by the way. I'll never see the like of that gear on my toons.
I was going to post my characters, but all those flash views loading would probably destroy the interwebs.
Night Elf Druid, Taeglin
Night Elf Priest, Evenshade
Blood Elf Mage, Firefey
Blood Elf Paladin, Lambent
Tauren Druid, Cowbelle
Tauren Warrior, Spartacow
Undead Warrior, Deathwrought
Blood Elf Rogue, Voidstalker
Troll Shaman, Busby
Blood Elf Death Knight, Anguish
Blood Elf Priest, Shrive
I've got a shadow priest at level 74, and another mage and a warlock at level 70. If I leveled them up, I could have a pretty strong ten man raid. Sadly, they're all equipped at a GearScore of around 3300, the best you can do with the Auction House and crafting.

-Swine Flu free since...cough, cough...
And us iPad spork readers wouldn't see them anyhow.

Yeah, I couldn't see Tony's dwarf the first time that I read his post. I guess it says something that it has been almost a month before I missed flash for anything.

Blizzard has made the inexplicable (to me) decision that their game forums for Starcraft II and World of Warcraft Cataclysm will show posters' real world names, ostensibly to prevent trolling. They're trying to build some kind of gaming social network, and my privacy is not a concern for them. I'll not be posting.

Heard about that through Pharyngula, which linked to Shakesville, which has a lot of women upset about being exposed to stalking.
It's a tough issue, taming anonymous assholery.

What a journey.
Well, the gubmint might dictate real-world names with the
trusted identity.

What they need is an "ignore" function and the problem of trolling goes away...

You'd think with their name, they'd be sympathetic to your concerns.
You know, bLIZZARD and you being a lizard and all. :)

Ah, but I'm not a liZZard. The extra 'z' must make a difference.

This is a good summary/analysis too...
The last thing I want is actual people throwing bricks through my window because I was a "fail tank" (in the opinion of
darthlegolas33 that is)

Yeah, and Real ID is staying. Due to a bug, the only way to turn it off is to use Parental Controls to be your own "parent," making your own account a child account. Then it defaults to off, and turning it on or off will work. The only thing that Blizzard changed is that future forum posts won't require your real name to be displayed.

Now that I have a lovely Mac Mini attached to my massive 46" TV, I would love to find some games to play with the kids. Any recommendations? They are 7 and 4. Also for a controller? I am thinking a Logitech cordless rumblepad. Any thoughts? We also do have a keyboard but a mouse is out of the question since it'll be lap held on the couch.
My daughter loves WoW, but I'm not sure I want to go down that massive route again.

My kids like the Lego games... they play on the PS3 now, but I played Lego Star Wars with my oldest on a laptop a few years back.
Not sure whether the video card on the new mini is up to it, but it ought to be.

Install Steam and browse the game equivalent of the App Store. Lots of cheaper but quality indie games that kids may find pleasant.

What a journey.
The lego games are the most recent ones that I will play. Don't really die and start back from beginning. I need that.
