Looks like the steam-powered Mac is coming! Some nice pictures there. Looks like Left 4 Dead, Half Life 2, Portal, Team Fortress, others?

Can't wait. I've given Steam plenty of money for my PC games.

I wonder what the OpenGL/DirectX penalty will be for native games.

Buy Steam game for Windows, get Mac version free. And vice versa.

Ooh, and it's retroactive. Nice to see that Apple is working with them; perhaps games in the App store have convinced Jobs that fun can be profitable.

Fallen Earth gets a Mac client. For those who don't know, Fallen Earth is a post-apocalyptic MMO set in the area around the Hoover dam. It's an interesting game; almost every item in the game is craftable with the right skills and mats.

The new random dungeon tool on Wow is pretty cool. I've done all the 5-man instances (both normal and heroic). Most of the time you get good groups but occasionally you get one tool who's either a gearscore or dps snob. They've got those little add-ons that tell you exactly how much better their character is doing than yours and don't hold back in letting you know how you're letting the team down.

I could try to explain that I'm playing the game on a laptop and effectively only using one finger but I guess, aside from having full finger dexterity, they expect everyone should log 100hrs a week and have an alienware rig with a pile of l33t macros for their customise gaming keyboard & mouse.

Aside from that, it's fun. (Oh and to be a snob, my GS is now 4.8K - go me!)

I dunno how someone managed to hack my account but when I logged into wow this morning my account had been cleaned out. That really ticks me off.

I think it's time to give up playing the stupid game.
