What sells computers most?

Sorry no. I bet I could find some Mac gamers that are. I think my clan (old/ex clan) are playing it.

I want to be playing it on OSX or Windows ... soon after I receive my new Mac Pro.

The macrumors.com forums have some benchmarks (and a lot of banter natch).

Heh. I like the idea of Little Big Planet, but I don't really play games on my PS3. (Too much competition from the kids!) It can only improve with Norse trappings, of course.

I've been compensating for my lack of WoW time by replaying 10-yr-old games like MythII (now a universal binary!).

I think that's defeating the purpose of canceling the WoW account.

It's not competition for game time. They want to watch TV on the same set that the PS3 is hooked up to.

A guy from the lab was bored yesterday and made a USB SNES cart reader. (God these people are smart.) Super Mario Bros 3 worked like a charm on my Mac right off the cartridge. He's going to make a couple more; think I can snag one. Would be cool to build into a drive bay.

awesome hack

Today I parted with my Ms. Pac-Man machine. I bought it 4 months ago for $250 and put another $40 into it to get it working. I sold it for $550 today so that I can buy a Cruis'n World machine. The Ms. Pac-Man was nice because it was all original and in amazing condition but, to be honest, I was never going to play it very much. I only bought it because it was too good of a deal to pass up. Cruis'n World is a game I've wanted for a long time. An actual sit-down racing game. I may eventually convert it into a MAME machine so I can plan other racing games on the cabinet as well but that's going to be a while since it will require a lot of rather expensive parts and adapters for a good conversion.

That said, I'm hosting my second Retro Gaming Party on Saturday, October 10th. It's going to be a good one. If anyone has any temptation to visit Minnesota, that would be a convenient weekend to do so. ;)
