No, it needs about 15GB of local graphics to render quickly. Runs on my Aspire One, though I wouldn't write home about the performance.

What a journey.
Anyone know of any good xbox not 360 games that can be played LAN party style? I might buy ME one to play against my kids.

Okay, I decided to spend some Wii time with the boys. I played the whole first 'movie' of the lego indy jones Wii game.
Pretty cool that you don't really die and start over. I hate that part at this point in my life.
Ended up with a headache, though, after playing it. Cool little game. Love all this on our projected/screen, too.

If you play WoW, you need to watch
this. I've never seen a better WoW video, even from Blizzard. It's not machinima, he did his own animation. It's amazing what can go on during a Rogue's "Blind" maneuver...

Really ticked off that Blizzard has made the lvl 70 pvp armor sets "disappear" since introducing the lvl 80 stuff for WOTLK. They left the level 60 stuff there, why cant they leave the lvl 70 armor sets too?
I don't really play enough to justify getting the new WOTLK upgrade and leveling up to 80 only to see the lvl 80 pvp armor sets disappear when they release the next upgrade.
I guess I needed to give up playing the silly game and get a real life. Thanks for making the decision easier, Blizzard.
(Oh, and I figured out why death Knights seemed easy pickings in pvp -- Blizzard hasn't put out any pvp armor sets below lvl 80 for them, major suckage...)

In America, the only respectable form of socialism is socialism for the rich.
...but you practically have to boot your Mac into Windows to have a game to play.

Better than making the story up entirely based on a random blog post (as is standard with the industry coverage of WoW).

...and apple, too, if you just read, say, cnet quoting some random analyst.

DPBD!
There has been
the bunfight over getting and R18+ classification for games but WOW is PG12+ or M at most here. I think at the moment they can't decide on a classification which may make some people think it's banned. Or people want to sell stories.
That said, Senator Conroy (our very own "series of tubes" guy) wants to ban all porn so I can't see why he wouldn't want to ruin the fun further by banning online games too.

Great for LAN parties--it filters out the L33T stink.

In the year 2000, computers pretty much sold themselves. Or so they thought in 1969...
