Talk about industry stock market mumbo-jumbo here.

Yeah, the lack of save state in Safari is bizarre.

It's not automatic, but History > Reopen All Windows From Last Session does the trick.

In America, the only respectable form of socialism is socialism for the rich.
Oh -- I think in a beta they exposed it with a check box in Preferences and I've been looking there off and on ever since.
thanks!

Sorry to go incognito yesterday Re: iTunes. I don't use Podcasts that much, so I guess I never had those issues. Then again, for the people who don't like feature creepitis, wouldn't it make sense for Apple to leave the podcasting features basic and allow third party developers to work out solutions for podcasts? And I am not saying that iTunes is perfect, but I have seen the other stuff that is available. iTunes really does surpass functionality of others for me. As for the storage issues, I guess you will have to wait until iPods are out of style before you can find one for $35. What do you use to synch podcasts for the Sansa?
RE:: Multiple users and libraries. I think they had iTunes built on the DRM reality they were dealing with at the time. If you never bought music at the store, yes, it is a poor solution. And now that you mention it, being able to sync certain playlists physically to a laptop instead of streaming them would be a nice feature.

Not saying that anything out there RIGHT NOW is better. Never said that. Important to emphasize. But who knows what someone like cocoatech might brew?
Actually, it'd be great if all the iApps were open to brewing as Safari/webkit is. Now THAT would be cool .

Ouch. I guess announcing new hardware wasn't enough to keep the stock in the black.

Okay. I absolutely (and maybe it's because it's early in the morning) LOVE that...but because I love the way PC behaves.
Apple really created a good ad concept with those two, finally.
What a journey.

Is this AAPL's worst keynote-induced-drop ever?
Mighty Mouse
– January 15, 2008 11:30AM
Don't know if you can say that. It was dropping before the keynote. That doesn't happen often.
The whole market took it on the chin today. Difficult to tell what was due to Citi and what was due to keynote reaction.
It did recover a bit before the market closed, though.

Then promptly gave it all back and more afterhours.
Shorting Blockbuster would've been smart. Down 17% for the day, approaching penny stock levels.

Where do you see 17%? I'm seeing a little less than 8% down (5.45% down for the day, 2.57% down in after hours)

You're looking at AAPL. I'm talking about BBI.
